To unite believers in love, generosity, and compassion—connecting needs to people and building communities that care for one another.
Our vision is to see a modern Acts 2 Church, marked by deep community, open-handed generosity and a commitment to ensure no one among us is left without support.
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.”
Acts 2:42-47
Why Aid The Way Exists
There’s the believer who wants to give — and doesn’t know who to trust. There’s the pastor carrying the weight of a whole community’s crises with no system and not enough help. And there’s the believer in a hard season — facing eviction, medical debt or a situation they can’t carry alone — who doesn’t know where to turn.
Aid The Way exists for all three. This is the Church in action. This is love in action.

Our Response to a Generous God.
Radical Generosity & Faith
God is radically generous toward us. We respond with big faith and open hands, giving sacrificially and trusting Him to multiply every act of obedience.
Unity, Honor & Collaboration
God is relational — Father, Son and Spirit — and invites us into unity with Him and one another. We pursue collaboration with humility, believing the Kingdom advances best when we move together.
Jesus First & Kingdom Impact
Jesus willingly laid down His life so we could be healed, restored, and set free. We respond with the same willing hearts—putting Jesus first and partnering with Him in love and service, bringing His presence to others and seeing lives transformed.

“The early Church showed us how to do this—with radical generosity, shared purpose, and no need left unmet. That’s the heart behind everything we do.”
— Laura Tortora, Executive Director

We identify tangible, urgent needs through trusted leaders and ministry partners who know their communities best.
Aid the Way speakers share authentic stories from the field, helping audiences discover how to recognize God’s faithfulness in difficult moments, why obedience comes before clarity, and what radical generosity looks like in everyday life.
Aid The Way (ATW) is a registered 501c3, faith-based nonprofit, that mobilizes mobilizes believers to meet real needs and strengthen community across the Body of Christ.
Aid The Way is designed for churches, ministries, faith-based nonprofit organizations, and believers who want to participate in practical care and community support.
YES! Thanks to the generosity of our Waymakers, we can offer this platform absolutely free. There is no cost to our partners, no cost to post, and no cost to our responders. Aside from a credit card processing fee that is a pass-through cost for us, 100% of every donation goes directly to the intended target.
We focus on believers because Scripture gives us a unique responsibility to care for the household of faith while still loving and serving the broader community.
In Galatians 6:10, Paul instructs believers to “do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the household of faith.” Throughout the New Testament, we see the Church functioning as a spiritual family. Passages like Romans 12:10–13 and Acts 2 describe believers sharing resources, carrying one another’s burdens, and ensuring no one among them was left in need.
Jesus Himself said in John 13:35 that the world would recognize His disciples by their love for one another, and 1 John 3:16–18 calls believers to demonstrate love not only through words, but through practical action.
At Aid The Way, we believe the Church should be known not only for what it teaches, but for how deeply it loves and cares for one another.
This does not mean we do not care about the broader community we absolutely do. In fact, Galatians 6:10 specifically calls believers to do good to all people.
However, there is currently a significant gap: while many organizations serve the public, very few systems exist specifically to help churches and ministries coordinate practical care within the Body of Christ.
Aid The Way exists to help bridge that gap by making it easier for believers to identify needs, respond compassionately, and strengthen community together.
Unlike traditional care platforms, Aid the Way exists to empower believers to care for believers without barriers, categories, or limits. From the senior struggling alone, to the single mom trying to stay afloat, to the recovering addict rebuilding life after finding Jesus, Aid the Way creates space for every believer in the Body of Christ to be seen, supported, and connected.
And we believe true care goes beyond physical needs. Through our community board, believers can discover trusted local programs, events, and resources happening across the Christian community- because while no single church or ministry can meet every need, the Church works best when we support one another together.
Before participating, partner organizations agree to a shared set of integrity and confidentiality guidelines, including conflict-of-interest standards designed to protect trust and accountability throughout the platform. Each partnering church or ministry then designates trusted Community Advocates who are responsible for reviewing, posting, and overseeing needs within their community.
Community Advocates are then trained by the Aid The Way team utilizing a set of criteria and encouraged to use wise, practical discernment when evaluating needs. This includes verifying the legitimacy of situations, protecting dignity and privacy, and ensuring requests align with platform guidelines before they are shared.
Because needs are reviewed within trusted relational communities- not anonymously submitted to the public- Aid The Way is designed to prioritize both compassion and integrity in the care process.
No. Aid The Way is designed to support, compliment, and strengthen existing care ministries, not replace them. Our goal is to streamline care by simplifying communication, increasing visibility, and helping mobilize additional support. It helps churches coordinate care more efficiently and engage more people in meeting needs.
First of all, if you have a need, we want you to know this platform was designed with you in mind. We know what it feels like to struggle and not know where to turn, and we want you to know: you are seen, you are not alone, and there is no shame in asking for help.
Because we are committed to being the best stewards of trust possible, needs can only be posted through our trained partner churches and organizations. These partners are equipped to thoughtfully vet, post, and manage needs within the community so that care can be provided safely, responsibly, and relationally.
If your church or organization is not partnering with us yet, we would love for you to share our information with them so we can explore serving your community together.
Aid The Way prioritizes dignity and confidentiality. Needs are written in a general way that protects personal identity (identifying information) and sensitive information. We train our advocates to obtain post consent, when possible, so that you can feel comfortable, confident and safe letting your need be known.
Advocates are trained to vet needs utilizing a set of criteria to ensure all needs posted are legitimate, they should also identify concerns and use wise judgment before posting. If concerns arise, needs can be paused, reviewed, or removed.
Financial gifts are distributed directly to the partner. From there, when possible, partners pay the vendor directly on behalf of the recipient, or issue gift cards. Distributing cash is generally discouraged.
Yes. Responders may give anonymously depending on the situation and fulfillment method. Most often, only the Community Advocate will be privy to the identity of the members involved. Impact stories are only shared with the consent of the parties involved.
